Chris Morgan is the Principal of Locate Architects, and is one of only five RIAS advanced accredited Architects in Sustainable design in Scotland, and is a Past-Chair of the Scottish Ecological Design Association. He holds two first class degrees from Newcastle University along with Certificates in both Permaculture and Building Biology.

Recently he became one of the first two Architects in Scotland to be certified as a European Passivhaus Designer.

Unusually for an Architect, he has spent a number of years overall working on building sites and with over 20 years spent grappling with sustainability in design, he is recognised as one of the leading Ecological Architects in the UK.
